BCNest ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

BCNest is designed with privacy in mind. Your digital business cards, contacts, and app data remain on your device. We do not require you to create an account and we do not operate servers that store your personal information.

1. Local Storage

All of your data—including your digital business cards, contact information, preferences, and settings—is stored locally on your device.

BCNest does not upload or synchronize your information to any server. Removing the app from your device will permanently remove any locally stored data unless you have created your own backup.

2. Information We Collect

BCNest does not collect or store your personal information on our servers.

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage information that helps us understand how the app is used and improve its features and performance.

Firebase Analytics may collect information such as:

• App usage events
• Device model
• Operating system version
• App version
• Country or region (approximate)
• Language settings

This information does not include the content of your digital business cards, contacts, or other personal data stored within the app.

3. Permissions

• Camera — Scan QR codes to exchange digital business cards.
• Photo Library — Save or select profile photos and business card images.

4. Analytics

BCNest uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics that help us improve the app's reliability, usability, and features.

Firebase Analytics does not collect the content of your digital business cards, contact information, or files stored within the app.

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.

Because your data remains on your device, we do not have access to your digital business cards or contacts.

7. Security

BCNest stores your information locally on your device. Protecting your data also depends on the security measures you use on your device, such as a passcode, Face ID, or fingerprint authentication.

8. Children's Privacy

BCNest is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page along with a revised Last Updated date. Your continued use of BCNest after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
